With this plan, Cursor contractually commits that not a single line of your code is stored on their servers. This is a mandatory standard if you are working on company projects (Outsource/Product) to avoid leaking technological secrets.

5. FAQ

1. Why should I buy the Ultra (Business) plan which is more expensive than Pro? If you work for a company and are worried about leaking Source Code, the Business plan is mandatory because it has an enforced "Zero Data Retention" mode. Additionally, this plan usually has fewer minor errors (like server disconnections) than the Pro plan.
2. Does the Business plan have more Fast Requests than Pro? According to Cursor's policy, both plans have 500 Fast Requests. However, Business users are often prioritized better in the queue (Slow Pool) during cable cuts or server overloads.
3. Can Empire Tech Admins see my code? No. The Business plan Admin only manages billing and adding/removing members. They cannot see members' code or chat history (Cursor is designed with this security in mind).
4. I am using Pro, can I upgrade to Business? Yes. Empire Tech will add you to the Business Team, and your account will automatically switch status.
5. Can I use Claude 3.5 Sonnet? Absolutely, this is currently the best default model on Cursor Business.
6. How does Privacy Mode work? When you chat or use Tab, your code is sent to the server for processing and returned immediately, not saved (Logged) on Cursor's or OpenAI/Anthropic's servers.
7. How long does Empire Tech take to upgrade? Only 15-30 minutes.
8. Can I use this account for my whole team? If you want to buy for a team, please contact Empire Tech for bulk purchase (Slots), and we can set you up as the Admin to manage that team.
9. Is Composer on Business different? Feature-wise, it's the same, but stability when processing large files (Large Context) on Business is often smoother.
