1. How is Busuu different from Duolingo or Babbel? Busuu is more academic and practical. Its biggest strengths are the Community and Certificates. Instead of learning with a machine, you communicate with and get corrected by real people, making your language more natural.
2. Are Busuu certificates valid for jobs? The McGraw-Hill certificates on Busuu follow the CEFR framework. While they don't replace IELTS/TOEIC, they are completely valid to add to your CV or LinkedIn to prove your proficiency to employers.
3. Can I learn English and Japanese at the same time? Yes. With the Premium Plus plan, you can learn any of the 14 supported languages and save your progress for each language separately.
4. Does Empire Tech need my password? Usually YES, so we can log in and process the payment/upgrade on your account. You can change your password for security after the process is complete.
5. Do I have to pay native speakers to correct my work? No. It's a free exchange mechanism in the Busuu community (They correct your English, you can correct their Vietnamese if you want).
6. Does the app support Vietnamese? Yes. Busuu's interface and grammar explanations fully support Vietnamese and are very easy to understand.
7. Will I lose my progress when the plan expires? No. When it expires, your account reverts to Free. Your lesson progress and vocabulary are saved. When you renew, you continue right where you left off.
8. Can I use it on a computer? Yes. Busuu syncs perfectly between the mobile App and the Web version on PC.
9. Can I renew after the usage period ends? Yes. Contact Empire Tech to continue renewing on the same account.
10. Do you provide VAT invoices? No. This is a budget support package, so we do not support issuing red VAT invoices.
