1. Official Upgrade (Personal Email):

   • Upgrade Education (Edu) status directly on your personal Email.
   • Retains all design files and old data.
   • Requirement: Provide Figma account Email.

2. New Account (Pre-made):

   • Empire Tech sends you a brand new account (Email/Pass) with verified Edu status.
   • Suitable for beginners or those wanting to separate study projects.

Important Warnings:

• The Figma Edu plan provides all features of the Professional plan; however, per Figma's regulations, this plan is for educational and teaching purposes.
• For the New Account package: Customers are allowed to change the password but absolutely must not change the login Email to ensure warranty rights.
• Empire Tech is not responsible if customers use the Edu package for large commercial projects that get scanned and revoked by Figma (though this is rare).

Uses and Benefits:

• Unlimited Design Files: Create as many Figma and FigJam files as you like in your team (Free plan limits to 3 files).
• Unlimited Version History: View and restore edit versions from 30 days ago or longer (Free plan only saves 30 days).
• Team Libraries: Share Components, Styles, and Variables across files and projects, helping to synchronize Design Systems.
• Dev Mode: Supports developers to inspect code, measure specs, and export assets easily (This feature is paid on standard plans but free on Edu).

Delivery Process (Empire Tech):

• For Upgrade Package:

  1. Place order and provide Figma account Email.
  2. Empire Tech verifies Edu status for the account (or invites to Edu Team).
  3. Notification via Email/System.

• For New Account Package:

  1. Place order and pay.
  2. System sends login credentials (Email/Pass).
  3. Log in and use immediately.

Warranty Duration: Depends on the selected package, please check the information on the website and in the confirmation email sent upon ordering.

Policy:

• Exchange for a new account or Re-upgrade (Fix Edu loss error) OR
• Refund based on unused time (e.g., 12-month package used for 3 months → 75% refund).

Disclaimer:

Customer voluntarily leaves the Edu Team (if added via team). Customer changes the Email of the pre-made account. Customer violates Figma's community policy (storing explicit, malicious content). Account locked due to suspected spam or unusual logins from too many locations simultaneously.

5. FAQ

1. Is this Edu plan different from the $12/month Professional plan? In terms of technical features, the Edu plan has the exact same features as the Professional plan (Unlimited history, Dev Mode, Libraries...). The only difference is the license intended for education.

2. Will I lose old data if I upgrade on my personal email? No. Upgrading only changes your account status to Education. All design files, drafts, and old projects remain intact.

3. Can I invite friends to edit files together? Yes. But for them to have full edit features (unlimited files), they also need to have an Edu account or be invited to your Edu Team.

4. Is Dev Mode usable on this plan? Yes. Currently, Figma Education still supports Dev Mode for free, helping developers inspect code easily.

5. Is the pre-made account safe? Safe. This is a blank account created and verified by Empire Tech. You should change the password after receiving it for security.

6. What happens after 1 year expires? After 1 year, the account will revert to the Free (Starter) plan. Old files remain, but you will be limited in editing rights (if exceeding 3 files) and lose access to old history. You can contact Empire Tech to renew.

7. Can I use this plan for Freelance work? Technically yes, as the features are powerful. However, please note Figma's terms of use regarding Education plans.

8. Is there a limit on the number of Projects in the Team? No. You can create unlimited Projects and Files in the Edu Team.

9. Can I install custom Fonts on Figma? Yes. You can install the Font Installer (on PC) or upload fonts directly to the Organization (if supported) to use custom fonts.

10. In what cases does Empire Tech provide warranty? We provide warranty if the account loses Edu status (reverts to Free) within the committed period.
