1. Does this app teach Pinyin? Yes. HelloChinese has a very detailed Pinyin introduction, guiding how to read initials, finals, and tones very easily.
2. I know nothing about Chinese, can I learn? Absolutely. HelloChinese is born for those starting from zero.
3. Can this account learn Offline? Yes. With the Premium plan, you can download lessons to your device to study on a plane or where there is no Internet.
4. Is HelloChinese or Duolingo better? For Chinese, HelloChinese is rated significantly higher than Duolingo because it features handwriting practice and detailed grammar explanations, suitable for the specifics of a logographic language.
5. Can I change the password? No. This is a pre-made account managed by Empire Tech for warranty purposes. Please do not change the info.
6. What HSK level can I reach after finishing this? If you complete the entire HelloChinese roadmap (Main Course), you can reach a level equivalent to HSK 3 or approaching HSK 4, enough for basic daily communication.
7. Does it support Vietnamese interface? Yes. The app fully supports Vietnamese interface and lesson explanations.
8. I want to learn Traditional characters (for Taiwan), is it possible? Yes. In the App settings, you can flexibly switch between Simplified and Traditional characters.
9. What is "Smart Review"? The system will remember words you often get wrong and automatically remind you of them at the appropriate time (Spaced Repetition) so you can memorize them deeply.
10. Does Empire Tech warrant if the App has errors? We warrant the account (login and Premium status). Content errors or technical bugs of the App belong to the developer.
