5. FAQ

1. Can I install this on a Mac? Absolutely NOT. Autodesk does not make 3ds Max for macOS. You can only install Windows on Mac (Bootcamp) to run it, but performance will be low and thermal throttling may occur. Windows PC is recommended.

2. Does this include V-Ray or Corona? No. This is the license for 3ds Max software. V-Ray and Corona are third-party plugins (Chaos Group); you must buy their licenses separately. However, licensed 3ds Max still runs well with "cracked" V-Ray/Corona if installed correctly (but not recommended).

3. How many machines can I install on? You can install on 3 Windows computers, but only open and use on 1 machine at a time.

4. How is 3ds Max different from Maya?
