1. Do I need this if I use Maya? If you only render single still images by clicking the Render button in Maya: NO. But if you want to render a full video sequence (Batch Render) in the background, or render on a Farm: YES. Without it, the output video will have a faint "Arnold" watermark all over the screen.

2. What about Cinema 4D (C4D)? C4D does not come with free Arnold. You MUST buy this package to use Arnold on C4D without a logo.

3. Does my NVIDIA RTX card make rendering faster? Yes. Arnold supports GPU Rendering highly optimized for NVIDIA RTX cards. Speeds can be 5-10x faster than traditional CPU rendering.

4. How many machines can I install on? According to Autodesk policy, you can install on 3 machines, but only render on 1 machine at a time.
